As you might guess, this retreat is anything but the usual women's retreat where one gal thinks she’s a little more enlightened than the rest and tries to school everyone else.

And even if you’re not leading a session, you’ll find yourself actively involved in mentoring another woman, who’ll then guide you right back. During the retreat, you will have the chance to fully engage in deep meditation , utilizing techniques such as sound bath, hypnotherapy, and various cleansing rituals, tantric practices, ceremonies, yoga practice and other spiritual workshops. Following the retreat, you will receive cheat sheets and instructional videos to help you stay connected with your inner wisdom even when you are not attending the retreat. The retreat will take place at two locations. Our main site, where we’ll have breakfast, do yoga, and sleep, is a 12-acre private land with two houses that have a total of six rooms, Hiking Trail, Horses and Goats at the property, Hot Tub, Yoga Platform with a Mountain View.
On the second day of our retreat, right after breakfast, we will head to my own retreat center, which is just a 10-minute drive from the main location. We’ll spend the day immersing ourselves in tantric and energy practices at my 10-acre sacred land, cozy in a Geodesic Dome specially equipped and adorned with mattresses, pillows, and other bohemian-style decorations.
Joshua Tree is long known as a place of multiple energy vortices on land — the forces of the vortex in this spiritual, ancient place magnifies everything we humans bring to it on emotional, spiritual, physical and mental levels.
The Desert Bloom Women's Retreat takes place June 12–14, 2026, in sunny Joshua Tree, California. The retreat runs from Friday at 3 PM until Sunday at 11 AM.

Our retreat will take place on a beautiful private ranch in Joshua Tree, spread across 12 acres of stunning scenery. There are two lovely houses, each featuring three cozy rooms.
The master bedroom is the largest and most spacious room in the house, complete with its own private bathroom, shower, and a luxurious jacuzzi. Additionally, there are private rooms with queen beds; however, these rooms don’t have en-suite bathrooms. The shower and restroom are conveniently located in the hallway, designated for use by those staying in the rooms.
It’s going to be a truly enchanting experience!
All rituals must first be discussed with me personally, and together we will decide if the ritual is suitable for the retreat, when it will take place, and how long it will last. The most suitable and effective workshops will include: breathwork practice, sound and guided meditation, rituals for activating feminine power, healing art, and healing movements.

Julia has organized over 150 retreats and created addiction recovery breakthrough programs and life transformation courses. She's spent years as an award-winning professional opera singer and vocalist. Julia plays piano, ukulele, guitar, drums, singing bowls, mexican flute, shruti box, ancient percussion. She is a certified sound therapist, tantra teacher and clinical hypnotherapist. Julia studied breathing practices and cleansing rituals in Mexico, built - and is still building - a relationship with plant medicine in Peru, where she received her spiritual Shipibo name Quena Kavi.
