- Private Ceremonies: Throughout the year, you will engage in four private ceremonies specifically crafted for our group, allowing for profound personal exploration and communal bonding. These sacred spaces create an environment for deep healing and connection.
- Personalized Vocal Training and Integration Work: Participants will benefit from twice-monthly vocal training sessions conducted via Zoom. These sessions are tailored to enhance your vocal abilities and integration techniques, equipping you with essential tools for facilitation and healing.
- Involvement in Ceremonies: Gain hands-on experience by actively participating in all ceremonies hosted by me. You will have the opportunity to learn alongside experienced facilitators, rotating as a facilitator or guardian in group ceremonies (limited to two participants per ceremony). This involvement is vital for practical learning and understanding the art of facilitating healing experiences.

Welcome to our unique retreat center, set on five gorgeous acres near Joshua Tree, complete with breathtaking mountain views! This off-the-grid treasure features a bohemian-style geodesic dome that comfortably fits up to 12 people. You’ll adore the spacious outdoor areas, including a cozy fire pit that’s perfect for gatherings and ceremonies.
All in-person training will take place at Julia's retreat center in Joshua Tree, as well as through Zoom sessions. The assisting ceremonies may be held at various locations, including Temecula, San Diego, and some areas in Colorado and Florida.
Meet your facilitator
Julia has devoted over 11 years to the medicine path, profoundly impacting lives through her work. She has organized over a 100 retreats, creating transformative programs for addiction recovery and personal growth.
Julia is an award-winning professional opera singer and plays a symphony of instruments, including the piano, ukulele, guitar, drums, singing bowls, Mexican flute, harmonium, and ancient percussion, weaving sound into a healing tapestry.
As a certified sound therapist, tantra teacher, and clinical hypnotherapist, she combines her artistic talents with healing practices. Studying breathing techniques and cleansing rituals in Mexico, Julia deepens her connection to plant medicine in Peru. She holds sacred ceremonies honoring the Peruvian Shipibo lineage, where she received her spiritual name, Quena Kavi.
